GRAFIT KRYSTALICKÝ PMM 7

Crystalline graphite PMM7 is mainly used as an excellent dry lubricant for the preparation of sliding surfaces, especially before their running-in or assembly. Due to its specific useful properties, it is used as a lubricant for specific use, or as a separating agent in some special technological operations, or as a separator, ensuring the disassembly of machine parts exposed to temperature or other influences. Powdered graphite is also used as an additive to some oils (or even to some plastics and lubricants) to improve high-pressure, friction and emergency properties. This product is capable of functioning (as a lubricant) up to decomposition temperatures, i.e. in air up to approx. 450-500°C, in the absence of air up to 800°C. It has high resistance to oxidation and high-energy radiation. It withstands cyclic thermal loading in the temperature range of -180°C to 500°C. It also resists most chemicals except hot sulfuric and nitric acid. In a vacuum, it loses its lubricating properties due to the absence of water vapor.
