RICINOVÝ OLEJ RAFINOVANÝ

Refined castor oil is slightly yellowish or white in color, odorless, and has a bland taste. It differs most noticeably from other vegetable oils in its density. It solidifies when cooled to -18°C, some species already at -10°C. Contains glycerides of stearic and ricinoleic acids; it is very easy to saponify, it thickens in air and becomes viscous, but it does not solidify like drying oils.

Refined castor oil is a purified product resulting from the first cold pressing of the seeds.

Refined castor oil is used for the production of various emulsions in technical and medical practice, as well as for the production of pomades, soaps and oil for impregnating leather. It is also used as a lubricity-enhancing additive in motor oils and fuels.
