A new approach to oil monitoring

Ekolube Antikor LD is a so-called Dewatering Fluid with temporary corrosion protection. After drying, it forms a very thin, dry to the touch transparent film with high corrosion protection on the treated surface. Use: Ekolube Antikor LD is used for short-term or intermediate preservation of semi-finished ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It is mainly intended for indoor storage and preservation of packaged parts. However, it is particularly suitable for drying wet surfaces of workpieces - e.g. parts coming out of washing equipment or carrying residues of cooling water emulsions from a previous process. Water or aqueous solutions that have accumulated in inaccessible areas susceptible to corrosion (slots, grooves, bores, geometrically complicated workpieces) are reliably displaced by this oil. This allows perfect drying and storage of metal parts before further processing. The application is carried out by spraying, coating, rolling or dipping the undiluted product. Removal, if necessary, can be carried out mechanically by wiping, with mildly alkaline detergents, or with solvents in liquid or vapour phase.
